Hi,

How long did you have to wait for s1 and s2 and where did you take them?

Why do you say s3 did not go well for you?

I heard within a day or two for both s1 and s2. I had my S1 in Manchester and S2 at the CTC. S3 was just a mess for me, it could have gone so much better, I was just so nervous and all my words were getting mixed up. I was stuttering and everything! lol

S2 30th Sep

Was cool meeting all the guys today at CTC for stage 2 tests. Best of luck to you all. Reckon I totally screwed up at least one of the tests so not overly positive about the whole thing. What did everyone think of the flight progress strips test?

Hey Fretwanger, yeah sorry, CTC is what I meant. Congratulations on getting through! All the best for S3. I was sat at the back of the room on the left...I remember the dodgy chair! LOL

Hopefully I should hear soon then.....I don't suppose you got an email asking for you to logon to the SHL site to complete some more assessments did you?

Hey guys, bit confused, still have heard nothing back from my stage 3 last monday, as previously said, however on checking my email I had an email from nats wanting to verify and gather some more information for my security vetting, 'in order to process my application'What does this mean? Any help would be appreciated! X x

I guess I just answered over half. They were really tough and the multiple choices (should you have to guess) had two similar answers.

As to how many I got right, who knows....

Going to make damned sure I get some feedback this time, as I towed the line last year and didn't ask HR for any, I need some answers to explain this failure and justify all the revision/time I put in.

Sat my s1 at Fareham today, personally i think i did ok, but had a bit of a shocker in the maths paper too, answered 15, but probably only 10 of them were accurate!!!!

Today was not my first time either and i have never asked HR on my failings, never knew you could until this forum. This time i will defo be pushing for answers if i get a negative email because i too have worked so hard and due to the location of the stage 1's this year ontop of my hard work its also set me back pushing £300 for 2hrs worth of tests (hotel, travel etc)... i think slight feedback is warranted haha

Hey,

I agree with you on the flight strips, it wasn't too hard to do what it asked, it was just doing it in the amount of time they gave you that was difficult, while you are constantly receiving new info through your headphones!! I thought this was the most difficult test. Let us know how you get on. Anyone else who sat stage 2 on 30th September should also post their results when they get them. Good luck

Yeah, i'm not feeling too confident about the whole thing. I didn't really mind the flight strips but i've got a horrible feeling I missed a ton of opposite conflicts

I guess we'll see when the results come through.. I hate the waiting already heh!

Anybody else that did Stage 2 yesterday get an email from SHL for NATS requesting you do some more assessments?

Or has anybody else that has done Stage 2 received something like this? I don't remember reading about it during this thread.

don't worry- its a checking thing. They re-test a random sample to see if your results differ.

It does NOT affect the outcome of your stage 2. its purely procedural. one of the guys at my stage 3 had to do it, and we all agreed it was very unfair to pull that on hiim at stage 3- probably why they are now doing it at stage 2!

VFFX,

Sorry to hear about stage1 - from the feedback you gave after your stage1, I felt you would go through. I feel getting detailed feedback from HR is absolutely paramount and would be grateful if you can share with us to ascertain to an extent, the kind of performance required to get past stage1.

One thing you said that I am not quite clear on is, you don't seem to know how many of the 11 maths question you answered was right. I mean with the answers, it is either you know how to work it out and get it right or not. Surely, you must have an idea as to how many of the 11 you got right.

You did your S1 at Manchester? I', from Manchester but thought we can only do them in Prestwick, Fareham or Heathrow? When was it?

Also, regarding the security checks, what sort of stuff are they looking for?

I managed to get a driving ban and a caution when I was young and stupid, coud that be a problem?

Thanks
