So are NATS!

Been agreed by the Union, so I am led to believe, to start to recruit from outside of NATS direct to certain airports. I do believe Manc is included which as per usual is p**s poor as plenty of us mere mortals would accept a posting to the higher echelons of the NATS banding system but allegedly we cannot be released!

From a brief we had and I quote, "the process cannot begin until such time as we are able to ascertain whether there are any other staff within NATS who would like to come to us or the other units approved to recruit externally".

If this is the case should there not be another V.N.? How else are they supposed to "ascertain"?

you could always write to the units in question showing an interest in a posting - of course you would have to inform you GM of what you are doing.

Why didn't I think of that?

My point being that it is through this forum and the rumour mill that I know about this. P**s Poor! It should be publicised!

Nobody can dispute it is a fantastic area of the country...of course there is no bias shown there!!! It certainly looks and sounds very appealing and I await 14 April and beyond with great anticipation!!! ;-)

Mr Dictator
It's slightly different to Heathrow. Can you vector a 737, followed by a PA 28, a Lynx for an SRA and then an E3D on a procedural approach whilst dodging the F15's over Hexham. Challenging with no two days the same. Good Luck!!

That's exactly what the appealing factors are!!! :-) Out of the sausage machine and onwards and upwards ;-)

Cheers for the good luck wish, fingers and toes crossed
