Visit to LTCC or LHR

I want to visit either London Terminal Control or London Heathrow Control Tower.

I have the addresses of both these units but would I receive a better reply if I emailed or called as I know NATS do not repsond quickly to letters.

So anybody that has the email address or phone numbers for either of these units please contact me.

<<Not very good response>>

What is your reason for wanting to visit? Are you aircrew or ATC? If you are either then I'm surprised at the poor response. However, if you are neither then I'm not surprised and suspect you will get the same result from TC.

I believe that LGW15 had expressed a desire to enter ATC as a career in a previous thread; hence the request I guess...

As I recall it was a thread about an application for work experience at EGKK and difficulties encountered with liability insurance and security pass issues between NATS and BAA.

Yes it's a great shame that security has ruined so much. First time I visited Heathrow... sorry, London Tower and Approach, I simply walked in the front door.. took the lift to Approach and asked the Sup if I could look around.. You won't see those days again.
