Mark D, as I said in my post, it may not be long before Vancouver App sees the A380, since Emirates is buying a heap of them (45 at last count I think), and are very keen to fly to most of the big destinations in Nth America (Vancouver included). I know that Etihad flies to Toronto through Brussels, but what I was referring to was that it may not be too long, with their constant expansion, that they fly to Vancouver.

Honestly I think with the need for alternates, everyone, whether or not your unit is regularly dealing with a scheduled A380 service, will need to at some time deal with them, and the specific problems they might bring.
