Cool

Hi to all again,

Looks like I really stirred up the pot with my short narrative of a few days previous. Re the pilots wages, yes I was obviously comparing to the crew of the majors and bar APPLY (I am not even going to bother with a reply to you), pretty much everyone seems to be in general agreement with the issues that I have raised.

It is really up to the grass roots (all of you ATCOs)and your unions to push these issues with employers and ICAO. Safety is the utmost importance for our profession and one which most of us protect and this alone is worth better conditions and pay.

It is only a matter of time before we will all be able to move about the planet to pursue our careers.

Dear Skytalkert

As much s I would like the week a year "de tox", I work in Switzerland and I`m afraid it is just not true what you say. The contract says that you are entitled to one week every 3 years after your 32nd birthday according to staffing levels and commits, ie never! As we are so short of staff. The swiss do sit on a lot of other peoples money tough.

Hi Strength;

Just as an aside... NATCA was able to get soem loss of license insurance this year for we folks over here. I didn't partake since I have my 20 years under my belt and am in the short strokes as it were <G>. Less than five and I am elligible to retire.

regards
