Question Eurocontrol Route Charges waiver?

...heard on Eurocontrol grapevine this morning that airlines are probing officials for possible reduction (or even temporary waiver) on route charges to help them overcome crisis.
Can anyone add or comment on this?

Not up to Eurocontrol really. They only collect on behalf of participating national aviation authorities.
