Eurocontrol Route Charges waiver?
...heard on Eurocontrol grapevine this morning that airlines are probing officials for possible reduction (or even temporary waiver) on route charges to help them overcome crisis.
Can anyone add or comment on this? [ 19 October 2001: Message edited by: atc_ring ] |
Not up to Eurocontrol really. They only collect on behalf of participating national aviation authorities.

As far as I know, prices are going to rise next year. My company apparantly wants to increase the enroute-fees by 16 percent due to lack of traffic.
However, I think, the biggest problems are the vast expenses for unnecessary projects and a general lack of management skills... |
