Sorry if i sound cynical at all. I am assuming from your previous posts that you are a wannabe ATCO who wants to get started with a good employer possibly as an assistant.
You can obviously navigate round the internet so i dont quite understand why you need someone on here to give you the address. If you can't even find out an address like that then I think your chances of becoming an ATCO are pretty slim.
Suggest you try looking on their website, or it could possibly work if you try sending your letter to the Manager of Air Traffic Services, Newcastle International Airport, Woolsington, NE13 8BZ

Anyway for your information, Newcastle throw all speculative applications in the bin

Forevertraining - Drop your very best CV to the address so helpfully given by Vent.

They do actually keep any decent potential applications on file - I know of at least 3 people in the last 3 years who have sent speculative applications, all at some point have been interviewed, and one was offered full time employment (as a fully qualified atco).

You may find that they now prefer to employ locals as ATC assistants, (they get financial assistance for further ATCO training from the local enterprise agency if they do), although they won't know who you are if you don't apply.
One way round that may be if you know someone who lives in the area, and they agree to let you use their address as a postal point of contact, not entirely ethical, but it shows initiative!

All the best.

A) Thank you very much for the address it is greatly appreciated when someone on pprune upholds the professionalism and common courtesy to help out a fellow ppruner.

B) Secondly as regards to your rather harsh and sarcastic comments. I am yes a "wannabe" ATCO but unlike someone out from the cold I actually was accepted to NATS on my first application. My application scores were all of a very high calibre and when I actually started the course all my practical scores were of a high standard. Unfortunately I failed my Oral board and that was the end of that, but instead of now sitting on my backside I want to remain in ATC and hope to eventually one day become an ATCO. I have now found my dream job and sorry I am not about to give it up just because I am scared to ask for a little help.

Now if this offends you to the point of such remarks as you have posted all I can say is live with it. I do not apologise for this or for asking for help that is one of the reasons we all use pprune to help each other out.

Many thanks to others who also thought the comments were a little to harsh.

forevertraining.
You could also try Teesside. It`s an excellent place to work with some top assistants and they have a good history of promoting from within.
As for Vent24 , nice first post, both condescending and negative. Have a word with yourself!!

Easy to be critical, but I'm fortunate to know that ForeverTraining was a better ADC student than I was - that fact that he is now in this position is almost entirely down to the erratic way that NATS makes decisions over its trainee's careers and lives seemingly without logic. Please don't assume that, because someone isn't a rated or validated ATCO, that they are worthy only of contempt.

Pingu - good luck mate. Determination is the only way!

I don't think I know you but my impressions are that you come-across as a complete A***. I have spent 17 years in, this, an occupation that I think very highly of and more importantly enjoy. However, it does gaul me that we, as an occupation, seem to be hard on ourselves and others. Your comments were bang out of order and totally unwarranted. Get off you ego and don't be so judgemental.

forevertraining

If you want it, go for it , good luck - the occupation needs people like you.

Right I will get off my soap box now and let this thread get back to, hopefully, directing interested future-controllers in the right direction.

Many thanks to DinD and rej, Duncan thanks for your comments I only hope I to can one day eventually validate like yourself. You prove that sometimes NATS do make some erratic decisions that are not always 100% correct.

Glad to see it is only a tiny minority that use pprune for childish remarks and on the whole people are here to use pprune in the manner it is meant to be used for.

Thanks for all the comments,

Forevertraining

Forever Training,

Good luck with Newcastle m8, you deserve the chance of a good go at validating. As you mentioned yourself, you worked well in Practicals, the other good thing about you was that you were a team player, not also very good at the practical element but one of few that actually paid attention in the input and not so shallow to be only interested in yourself.

Good Luck m8y :o)

Vent24,

Ure quite clearly insecure and have popped on to 'have a go' at someone. With the attitude you have shown from one posting I state that

1 - I hope I never have to work with you whether you be ATCO or Assistant, you can be easily marked as a license looser.

2 - What makes you think you have the right to speak to people like that whether they be someone you know or don't?

Lets hope it was just you were having a bad day, no one likes an arrogant

TIO
