There's a thought.
But feedback coming from Bournemouth indicates a growing ' culture ' amongst the cadets that ' doing the wings ' is beneath them. As I understand it also, there is not much of a need for them to actually attend the college, just take your books and course notes and go and sit on the beach.
John Townsend would have had a fit!!!
Obviously the "couldn't give a stuff" attitude in many schools these days is translating itself to the real world.
Time to stop all this positive stroking and molly-coddling crap and introduce these children to reality - either doing what is required or visiting the dole queue. Take your choice cos we need people in the door to get valid so the rest of us who've served our time/sentences can get out whilst we've still got some sanity left.
Many of us spent time as an assistant or spent several years on the wings, often both, getting all the peripheral info buttoned up so the job of winding aircraft around the sky was not afected by a lack of knowledge.
Growling over. Have a nice day!!

Good Growl 40612.
Going back to your previous post I have to agree about the PFS display but cannot agree that it is "the primary data base". How can it be when it has the potential to be innaccurate, is incomplete and is not the tool being used by the planner when accepting traffic into the sector.

Recently been to NERC and without a word of a lie less than 50% of the paper strips actually fitted the holders. £800m spent and we can't even get the right sized paper strips!!
Also next time you're down there take a look around the TDU and notice the difference between the shade of grey and the contrast of the colours. Nobody could actually answer the question of how the picture should look. I guess the tubes are now so old nobody can remember.
