H R

I know this subject has been touched on before in this forum, but the lack of progress at H R seems to be getting worse. I remember reading on here that they had drafted someone in to sort out the problems but as yet nothing.

Now it is a little unfair of me to complain to much, because I do not know the workload that the people at H R face, but it seems impossible to get through at the moment, and when they give you the option to leave a message, ultimately no one ever gets back. When I am fortunate enough to speak to a person, they are to inexperianced to deal with the problem and just pass the message on, again there is no reply.

Now I am not one to moan, but after seeing the medical staff at Heathrow, and the professional people at Swanwick and West Drayton, its seems that HR are a long way short of professionalism that you would expect from such a large company.

Now if I was just leaving school and living at my parents then all the not knowing may be easier to cope with, but I have a family to support and it is becoming increasingly difficult and worrying. I know I might get some responces saying" well just dont go for the job then", but I have worked very hard and taken lots of risks in the last two years to get where I am now.

I'm afraid you hit the nail of the head there, but get used to it. Despite many promisses with flashy titles (like "New Horizons") HR had never improved and would take a massive overhaul to provide an acceptable level of service. You have my deepest sympathies when your whole family are being messed about by them, but that's life in NATS. Your only real compensation is that the job is great and eventually you can limit the influence HR have on you life.
