Controller Vacancy at Plymouth

Heard on the grapevine that there is a vacancy for a controller at Plymouth. Previously validated APC /ADC required and a Met Obsever Certificate an advantage. The money's not great but it is a nice part of the world so if you are interested, contact Plymouth ATC and they'll put you in touch with the SATCO.

Ahem.....

Do NOT take us PAFC supporters lightly.

20 years ago (14th April 1984) I stood on the terraces (remember them?) of Villa Park, along with 20,000 other Argyle supporters, to witness the 28th post war FA Cup Semi-Final. PAFC vs. Watford FC

If it weren't for a very young John Barnes (who supplied the cross) and a lanky George Reilly (who scored the Only Goal) things would have been very different.

BUT I'm NOT bitter Oh, no, the JOYS of standing in the Rain (lots of it in the westcountry), eating pasties in the Mayflower enclosure or Devonport End, seeing the umpteemth refereeing descison go against your team, suggesting to the linesman just where he should wave his flag WONDERFUL! THIS is what REAL football supporting is all about, none of your Premiership nonsense at Home Park.

This is what you COULD have every other weekend at Plymouth.... Not to dismissed lightly

Talking about refereeing decisions, anyone go to Oldham on Saturday? Fantastic refereeing display - NOT.
Alas the Devonport end is no longer the same as we remember it, pasties are though!
Hi-jacking of thread over as well, (until the next post).

Suppose theres still no chance of ever getting a radar there, the airport that is not Home Park.?

Blimey - I was there at Villa Park.... and the games before v Derby.

Was also at Wembley for the play off final win in the 90's v Darlo (and losing against Burnely in the play offs)... but lets not go down that route... please!!

(sort of on topic really.......)

Oh yes...Wembley '96. What a day.

Anyway, with regards to the job, is that a valid procedural APC? or with possibility of training in future?

Quite a nice bunch up there, and getting fairly busy now which is good.
