Controller Vacancy at Plymouth
Heard on the grapevine that there is a vacancy for a controller at Plymouth. Previously validated APC /ADC required and a Met Obsever Certificate an advantage. The money's not great but it is a nice part of the world so if you are interested, contact Plymouth ATC and they'll put you in touch with the SATCO.

a dream location, eh Gonzo?!?
AND you get to see the mighty PAFC in action in Div One (me hopes!) :) |
What they offering? About £50K??
|
Surely not that much.....?
Hope springs eternal..... |
3 points from 3 games should do it - heres hoping.
GREEN ARMY! |
Ahem.....
Do NOT take us PAFC supporters lightly.:suspect: 20 years ago (14th April 1984) I stood on the terraces (remember them?) of Villa Park, along with 20,000 other Argyle supporters, to witness the 28th post war FA Cup Semi-Final. PAFC vs. Watford FC If it weren't for a very young John Barnes (who supplied the cross) and a lanky George Reilly (who scored the Only Goal) things would have been very different. :( BUT I'm NOT bitter:{ Oh, no, the JOYS of standing in the Rain (lots of it in the westcountry), eating pasties in the Mayflower enclosure or Devonport End, seeing the umpteemth refereeing descison go against your team, suggesting to the linesman just where he should wave his flag:uhoh: :ooh: WONDERFUL! THIS is what REAL football supporting is all about, none of your Premiership nonsense at Home Park. This is what you COULD have every other weekend at Plymouth.... Not to dismissed lightly;) ;) |
Doesnt look like us Cherries will be joining you :(
Thread Hijack Mode off |
Talking about refereeing decisions, anyone go to Oldham on Saturday? Fantastic refereeing display - NOT.
Alas the Devonport end is no longer the same as we remember it, pasties are though! Hi-jacking of thread over as well, (until the next post). Suppose theres still no chance of ever getting a radar there, the airport that is not Home Park.? |

Blimey - I was there at Villa Park.... and the games before v Derby. Was also at Wembley for the play off final win in the 90's v Darlo (and losing against Burnely in the play offs)... but lets not go down that route... please!! (sort of on topic really.......) http://www.stopstart.fsnet.co.uk/mica/check.gif |
How many of you bleedin' janners are there on this site??
|
And back on thread,
How much is 'not that great'? |
People should PAY to work within 5 miles of the hallowed turf that is Home Park.
tee hee |
What a midfield.....Steve Castle, Steve McCall, Wayne Burnett and Paul Dalton!
|
Gonzo talking football!?
That's nearly as funny as me talking football. Plymouth you say........oooppps, bit late for me then? |
Jer - you ain't worthy mate.
Agggh - Gordon Staniforth, Lyndsey Smith (used to live next door), Tommy Tynan (when to school with his daughter Tammy!! :)) "The Greens are Going Up" --------------------------------------------------- (next season we should have a PPRUNE meeting v Pompy (going down) and Reading (staying in Div One)) |
Oh yes...Wembley '96. What a day.
Anyway, with regards to the job, is that a valid procedural APC? or with possibility of training in future? Quite a nice bunch up there, and getting fairly busy now which is good. |
Been said before and wll be said again, we all know I ain't worthy Al!
But still, Gonzo talking the Beautiful Game. What next? Point 7 head of recruitment? Certainly would be interesting. |
Point 7 head of recruitment? (temp above zero yet!!?) |
At last we'd get some decent trainees. ;)
