Sorry, I know this is now a tedious subject, but can anyone advise whether to buy the 'Cartabossy' 1:1,000,000 or the SIA 1:1,000,000 with the SIA flight guide?

And if it's the Cartabossy and I fly an itty-bitty plane like a cub, should I therefore get the ULM version or are there reasons not to?

I gather that you need the 1:1,000,000 to get info about who to call if you want to cross these infernal military routes.

They are for sale here:

And my other question is: has anyone had a successful delivery from these people to the UK? If so, how long did it take?

Thanks,

David

I would suggest the SIA, and preplan who you have to call if paper handling is a problem in the cub

I also highly recommend the SIA charts - available online at http://neige.fleurb.jmsp.net/default_uk.htm - I ordered them online on Sunday 18 May and they arrived in the mail on Friday 23 May.

Cheaper than Transair, too :)

Thanks, I've ordered from the SIA.

Now about the Delage 2003 -- is it out yet? If so, where is the best place to get it from? I hear there's a pilot shop at Le Touquet. Is it any good? I'm not confident of ordering it on the web and getting it, you see, as Boutique Aero says 9 working days for delivery....
