Hi All,
I'm a PPL/IR getting back into the skies after a few years out.
I'm looking for hangarage in the Southwest for my Mooney Acclaim S.
I hangared my last aircraft (Mooney Ovation N192JM) at Plymouth which was ideally located for me, sadly it has since ceased operations.
Exeter and Newquay look like the best probable options for me (tarmac, ILS) with Perranporth and Dunkeswell being slightly less conveniently located tarmac alternatives...
Does anyone know who to contact at Exeter or Newquay to arrange hangarage please?

Thanks in advance,
SB

You could contact Cornwall Council, they are anxious to make more money from the Newquay site.... see: https://www.pprune.org/aviation-history-nostalgia/648645-cahc-closure-more-ac-losses.html

Sorry, that may not have been the most helpful answer, but I couldn't resist. Then again, with such a situation moving an aircraft to the site may not be the best thing to do. I can imagine things being a bit unsettled over there at the moment.

Perranporth is full with a waiting list.
Newquay may have a space as an aircraft has just left there but there's a rumour (this is a rumour site after all) that it's a 6-month rolling contract and you might get evicted at any time (that's what's happened to the lovely museum there)
The plus with Newquay is the access to the ILS and landing fees included in the rent. Ask at Flynqy, they might have the present contact with Cornwall Council. They also have instructors/examiners available.
Another rumour is that Dunkesell is somewhere North of £8k pa for your size of aircraft. (Someone please tell me I'm wrong!)
