Hi all,

I am trying to find those diagrams in the FCOM that I thought used to be in FCOM Pro-Nor-Sys-FMS-Approach. It showed an aircraft on final with a series of arrows pointing towards the go-around and the reasons why you would, above/below 1,000ft, above/below AH etc. Can't find it....

Thanks

Actually, Cat III is exactly the same as the RTO situation, and the same as any other situation under Airbus philosophy.

If it dings at you: stop what you're doing.
If it nags at you: have a think, but maybe continue...

After 15 years of Airbus, the most problematic situation I have encountered is not in the aeroplane, but rather in view of Chief Pilots reverting to (Boeing) type.

Yes it is. For any red you stay on the pavement, for any red you aim for the pavement.

Although some less experienced folk might get confused by your explanation. Perhaps too much short-hand, be careful.

I rather like this one.

Indeed. I've already written a Note to Self, explaining that he really shouldn't post after a birthday lunch...

And you make my point for me, much better than I did!

Thanks Nightstop.... has this either gone missing from the FCOM or has it been moved?

Removed, I am afraid.

Since 2019 when some of the explanatory text was expanded and moved to PR-NP-SOP-190-GUI "B" APPROACH USING LOC G/S FOR CATII CATIII.

Some of if remained in PRO-NOR-SRP-01-70 "D" LANDING CATEGORIES.

The content of the pictures is put to paragraphs, PRO-NOR-SOP-18-C "D" STANDARD OPERATING PROCEDURES - APPROACH sub-section FINAL APPROACH.

The task-sharing tables are in QRH Task Sharing section APPROACH USING LOC G/S GUIDANCE (that's a good and appropriate).
