Hi there,
As topic mentions, anybody has any info regarding this? As per this video, the first landing

On B-744, the spoiler deployment give a nose pitch up moment. I assume that is also the case with the 777.
So maybe part of the tailstrike protection software, to reduce/cancel any pitch up moment if the tail is too close to the ground?

Interesting, I noticed that on the B747 too
I'd be wary of drawing too many comparisons, especially with regard to software - the 777 is FBW, the 747 isn't.

Depends on which model 747. IIRC, the spoilers on the 747-8 are FBW (unlike the previous versions of the 747).

If you saw this on your approach and landing, then you used a less than optimal technique. Time to reread the FCTM and rethink your technique.
