Could someone advise me PLEASE how to draw entry to these holdings?
1) ATC: Hold over SLC VOR on radial 250° inbound, right turns. Im approach the station on radial 130° inbound SLC
2) ATC: Hold over SLC VOR course 250° inbound, right turns. Im flying track 130° to SLC

Ahoj Jan,

If you draw a needle facing 130 deg and use the OUTBOUND radial of the hold as reference.
The first 70deg to the RIGHT (as holding is Right hand turn) is the teardrop area(130-200) but 250 isnt in there.
The othe area following to the RIGHT is the Direct (200-060). Your outbound radial (R070) isnt in there.
The next area following to the RIGHT is the Parallel (060-130).Your outbound radial is in there.

So you need to join as a parallel entry.

Now make up your mind JB.
Are you tracking IB on R130 or are you tracking 130*M?
Holding IB on R250 means tracking 070 IB to the VOR.
Work out what you're trying to do then look up the AIP or similar publication for the rules.

Strewth mustafa ! Jan gets his head bitten off but he has said it perfectly clearly ! And still got no answer of any sort from you.
The hold is inbound on the SLC 250 radial, right turns. In
1- he is on the 130 radial tracking course 310 in on QDM 310, and
2- he is on the 310 radial tracking course 130 in on QDM 130.

Quite simple, and less of the Oz rudeness to a perfectly legitimate question please. Now I've been out of the industry 7 years so I may be out of date, but my way of tackling this would have been:
1- overhead SLC, track out on 250 radial for appropriate time, left turn straight back to SLC then overhead again right turns holds
2- overhead SLC, straight into right turn holds.

No, I don't agree. They are both parallel entries, unless I have missed something.

It is a parallel entry for situation 2) , not a direct entry as you state. The hold calculator which you conveniently linked confirms this.

Inbound Course "course 250° inbound" : 250
Aircraft Heading "flying track 130° to SLC": 130
Answer: Parallel.

Situation 1) was also Parallel:

Inbound Course "on radial 250° inbound": 70 degrees
Aircraft Heading "on radial 130° inbound": 310degrees
Answer: Parallel

Yep, I missed the fact that one was a radial and one was an inbound course.

Parallel for both.
