In the past week, a lot of progress was made in the covering the search area.
They're heading back to port now, but if the weather holds up for the next two weeks, they should be done.

The search zones are shown in the image below, with the areas completed shaded in light blue:

There's a bit of fake news going around on the internet about it having been found on Google earth full of bullet holes.

I think the progress of severe tropical cyclone Marcus, which is currently barrelling down out of the Timor Sea into the Southern Indian Ocean, might delay Seabed Constructor's next sortie out to the search zone. The four day forecast (http://www.bom.gov.au/australia/charts/4day_col.shtml) doesn't look flash.
