Hi guys,
One airline I know is about to start long range ops from a regional airport. They operate a 787-8 which has MTOW ACN of 71, for the pavement in question (and they're gonna need to be close to MTOW for this flight)
However, the runway in question has PCN of 52, which is waay lower then the ACN.
How is this ops possible? My Jeppesen legend/explanation chapter says the PCN can be occasionally exceeded by 5 percent. In the above case we are talking about 35 percent overload...
