Hello,

I am wondering why ACA828 / ACA829 (YUL-LYS and back) went substantially north of usual routes today, and thought of ETOPS restrictions, as it matches quite nicely 60min range (http://www.gcmap.com/mapui?P=lys-yul&MS=wls&DU=km&SG=900&SU=kph&E=60&EV=389&EU=kts)
https://ns.1e.ca/tmp/aca829.png

Could it be an inoperative HMG as mentioned on page 84 of http://wwwapps2.tc.gc.ca/saf-sec-sur/2/MEL-LEM/tcbbs/mmels/B_767.pdf ? If anyone from AC maintenance can provide some details, I'd be curious to have them (my wife on the plane will want to know as well :})

Thanks for your insight :ok:

Getting an authoritative answer on this quite specific topic is like magic to me (internet do wonders to bypass PR filters). Thanks mymymy !
