Low time pilot with very low time on the aircraft (known to be a hot aircraft) in bad weather conditions and coming in way too hot on the approach... What's to go wrong?

Still, Hot-n-high might lead to an over-run- how does he just roll over and spear in because he has too MUCH energy?

It's not just that the MU-2 is 'hot' - it has very 'distinct' handling characteristics that take serious training to master properly.
