Haven't met chevvers but a well respected ex NATS ATCO.

In his day, after Marty Trickett, possibly the most all-round experienced ATCO in NATS - with only College instructor tour missing from his portfolio. Plus AFISO, flying instructor and I think CPL for right hand seat work in 'executive- type' flying, thespian, rock star;), etc etc. I'm worn out thinking about it!

Hi Brian48Nav,Nice to see Martins' name and some of his abilities remembered. Reminds me of those "halcyon" days at DM circa 81/82 until you both left for pastures new. Last I heard MT was still there - and I think his ex and her new man went too, and maybe some of his sprogs!

At No2 son's wedding a few years ago, a couple of very attractive B Watch (en-route) babes came and sought me out. I thought it was because of my charm and LL film star looks:O, but no it was just to give me news of MT:{
