Talkdownman and chevvron

Who are they? They always seem to post on forums together?
You never see one post without the other?

I agree with Tinpot. Both are pilots too.

TDM, lovely chap, throughly miss conversing with him on the 'dog and bone'!

Haven't met chevvers but a well respected ex NATS ATCO.

When I saw the thread title I was praying it wasn't bad news- there has been far too much of that around here recently.

HD, when you say 'almost human too' I can only assume that you mean Chevvron, because there's no way that TDM could qualify under that heading.

TDM is a legend, not met Chevvers but seems pretty switched on.

Soaringhigh, on the other hand, is earning me lots of money from bets as to when he's going to pop up and give us his views on UK ATC.

edit.....callsign confusion!

TDM

In his day, after Marty Trickett, possibly the most all-round experienced ATCO in NATS - with only College instructor tour missing from his portfolio. Plus AFISO, flying instructor and I think CPL for right hand seat work in 'executive- type' flying, thespian, rock star, etc etc. I'm worn out thinking about it!

Hi Brian48Nav,Nice to see Martins' name and some of his abilities remembered. Reminds me of those "halcyon" days at DM circa 81/82 until you both left for pastures new. Met up with Martin again when I arrived as one of the Boscombe 6!!!!!!! Were those the days?? Wish you all well and especially those that suffered us as the Boscombe 6!

Last I heard MT was still there - and I think his ex and her new man went too, and maybe some of his sprogs!

At No2 son's wedding a few years ago, a couple of very attractive B Watch (en-route) babes came and sought me out. I thought it was because of my charm and LL film star looks, but no it was just to give me news of MT

When I saw the title I wondered if it was to announce a civil partnership
