bmi have received US government approval to share anti-trust immunity with United on LHR to US routes. They are now calling on the UK government to do the same.

Great! All they have to do now is find some slots at LHR for the USA services then wait for the US dept of justice to demand 60% of them for the exclusive use of US carriers in the name of 'competition'!

The title "BMI Half Way There" mislead me into viewing this thread -- I THOUGHT IT MEANT THE 2 YR PAY DEAL and possible news re rumours of non-compliance !

Are you sure about that gpilot?

I am no expert but I thought that shorter/more sectors was more profitable than longer/fewer sectors given appropriate loads etc.
