I was reading a book about ATC and followed a link to this page
https://trainingzone.eurocontrol.int/phraseology/ICAO/resource.jsp?pID=227
When you click on the listen button she says, "climb TO 5000" is this correct terminology? I was under the impression that the word altitude should be used instead of "TO", standing by to be corrected :uhoh:

According to 4444: Climb to altitude 5000 or climb to FL 150

In the UK...

"Climb to altitude .... feet"

"Climb Flight Level ...."

a) The word 'to' is to be omitted from messages relating to FLIGHT LEVELS.
b) All messages relating to an aircraft’s climb or descent to a HEIGHT or ALTITUDE employ the word 'to' followed immediately by the word HEIGHT or ALTITUDE. Furthermore, the initial message in any such RTF exchange will also include the appropriate QFE or QNH.
