Well its an end of an era for the RAN Sea King operations
817 Squadron Final Flight - Royal Australian Navy (http://www.navy.gov.au/817_Squadron_Final_Flight)
I wonder if there is any future of the airframes barring museum exhibits or for technical training? I know they're the Yeovil product and from what I can gather its only former Stratford produce S-61 that end up being re born so to speak by the likes of Coulson, Vector and Erickson (re LASD Air 5) or CHC, but wonder if the Sea Kings shall be sold off or re acquired by Yeovil to be refitted with Carson blades and added to the CHF inventory as a temporary stop gap measure pre Merlin entering the Junglie fraternity?
Cheers
