Hello all,
I'm fully ready for my air law exam now, booked it for tomorrow
Just wanted a bit more info on the exam itself,
Is it an hour long?
How many questions will it have?
What's the pass mark?
I haven't been flying for a while so haven't had a chance to ask my instructor,
Thanks!
Tom

Maybe cancel it and re-book later. Those are fairly fundamental questions! Have you not looked at the PPL Confuser? From memory it is 1 hour, consists of 40 questions and the pass mark is 75%.

It is 60 minutes long, and should be easy to pass if you revise!
cheers,
Jake..
PS - This is my first post here. So, I'm 17, very close to getting the a PPL - I only have a few "loose ends" to tie up, then I'm done!

Well done on passing Air Law.
I did my Air Law last week and was a bit worried about the outcome, there are a lot of facts to remember, all those conventions, signals etc... Reading Air Law can make one a bit  but I managed to pass with a 90% so I am pleased.
Next exam is Human Factors and Pilot Performance.
where about are you learning to fly?

Congrats on passing, Tom!
I fly at Shobdon (EGBS) near Leominster.
I have almost finished the PPL - just got to refresh my brain, then do the skills test!
Jake.

Thanks guys!
Well done FirstOfficer! Yes I agree it was a taxing topic to take in, I had a lot of trouble absorbing it during revision (loving the username by the way ;P) Excellent :) I had a look through the confuser section and it's really very similar to the GCSE biology course I did!
Ahh that's brilliant jake :D I fly at Biggin Hill (EGKB) :) What's the skills test like?

Air law before first solo is not a legal requirement it is just down to the particular school concerned.
