Hi there!
I have a several questions for you examiners:
I currently work in ground ops for an italian helicopter company.
One of my colleagues told me the other day that I should apply to become a TEA examiner, I had a look at the requirements to become one and it looks that I have them (a degree in an english speaking country is enough). Also the cost to obtain the certificate in italy is only 150 euros which is much less than the UK from what I see.
I would quite like to have some extra info but cant find much on the web
Once i get the certificate, what happens next? Do i have to go looking around for piltos/ATC that need to do the test? Or do I need to join some kind of school?
And also can I keep my current job, or is it a full time job?
Are they many examiners around or is it quite easy to find a job?
And does anyone know anything about the salary of the examiner??
Thanks!
