I'm having a small question regarding 737-800 FLT Control switch.

If you turn the A FLT CONTROL switch to STBY RUD position, it will prevent hyd system A pressure from pressurizing Rudder/Ailerons/Elevator and will allow standby system to power Rudder and the thrust reverse. my question here is will the standby power the both thrust reverser or only Number 1 thrust reverser (and Number 2 thrust reverser will still powered by hyd system B)?

Enull ,, i hope you start your flight training soon :P

anyway, as long as hyd system B is pressurized it will be in charge for its items. when system B also fail or become unpressurized the standby system will be responsible for both thrust revers

Nimer767,

does this means the ALTERNATE FLAPS master switch (when ARMed) will let the standby system power Number 2 thrust reverser only?

de facto
