What is the range of the Grid MORA displayed on the bottom right of the ND on the A320?
Can`t find the reference in FCOM.

Depends what range you have the arc mode set to.

Dunno about the one bottom right, but the one bottom left is described at FCOM 1.31.45 p13 or thereabouts.

I think you must have at least 40 nm range to have it displayed in your ND.

Hi,

I know at least 3 different ways Airbus displays the grid MORA on ND.
It mainly depends on your MSN / EGPWS std...

You mentioned your MORA in the bottom right-hand corner so I assume you're flying a 3500+ A320 family MSN.
In that case you can find your answer there: FCOM 1.31.45 p18a:

That is for TERR display.

grid MORA is displayed with EFIS option CSTR and (I think) range 40 or greater

Agree, but having TERR ON is the only way to have some MORA in the bottom right-hand corner...

For CSTR only, range must be 40 NM or greater as you said and this MORA covers a circle of 40 NM around A/C FM position.

Too much confusion... The grid MORA is displayed indeed with a range 40 miles and above, at the bottom LEFT of the screen.
The one at the bottom right is only showing in TERR mode, and is not a grid MORA, but the highest terrain elevation displayed depending on range.

The grid MORA is an option available depending on the database used by the operator, and garantee a clearance above the highest terrain (that's what grid MORA does...) the TERR will just show you the elevation at which you will hit the mountain...:}
