The press and TV have managed to make the Swiss Pilot and airline employee situation worse than it was, by polarising opinions and turning groups of pilots against each other - groups who will soon be dependent upon each other's good will.
In my experience, pilots have always been basically colleagues, glad to meet each other and hear about the other guys' operation. We will be operating aeroplanes long after the press have found (and probably exaberated) a new scandal over which to crow.
This is partly an appeal to pilots in Switzerland to get back to the basic values we all know and is partly a sly trick to get in a free plug for the Zuri Bash (see Bashes)on 30.Nov!
