Anybody driving a Sandel 3500 from a KLN94?

This is supposed to work OK, except, allegedly, when the KLN94 is in the OBS mode, when it emits a modified data stream which the 3500 may not display correctly.

Sandel are unable to confirm this either way - they might if somebody lent them a KLN94. From the UK, this is not easy or cheap for me to organise...

I know for a fact that when one is using a Garmin x30 to drive a KMD550 MFD (which the KLN94 drives 100% fine, as one would expect) the GNS's OBS mode does not get displayed correctly on the KMD550.

Yes, no response. They talk only via dealers.

In any case, it would be worthless. I had a GTX330 connected to a KLN94 for the purpose of auto GND/AIR mode switching, but despite this connection being specifically shown in the GTX330 installation manual, Garmin washed their hands of it and (more predictably) so did Honeywell. Never worked.
