Someone was asking the whereabouts of his old flight instructor, Eileen Steenson (Ranolds). In the research for my book of Australian women pilot "firsts", First Females Above Australia, I have found that Eileen is now 94 and in a retirement home at Pelican Waters, Queensland. Is stone deaf but still has all her marbles! She was a most revered Instructor and wrote her book Flight Plan PNG, about her interesting aviation career in that region.
