Anyone know of one? Not far from Newcastle airport.

The only one i can think of is Eshott Airfield which is about a 30 minute drive North of Newcastle just off the A1 halfway between Morpeth and Alnwick. It's about 15 miles away from Belsay.

Hope that helps.

Can't think of any i've seen in the Newcastle zone...however, I have seen a few further north.

Reference to a private strip has been removed, as the owner does not want it to be publicised, due to local planning attention - mods.

Chester-le-Street strip strictly private and subject to frequent flooding and only really suitable for Stol ac.

Find "Rothley" which is north east of Wallington, then track the road north as it cuts through Rothley Lakes, and as the road then bends right look in the field north of the road.:ok:

Don't ask!!!!! Lots of ash enduced time on my hands

Anyone know what's it called and contact/PPR info? - Although it looks like it's probably a personal farm strip only, roughly 550m long. The scenary is spectacular.
