The only one i can think of is Eshott Airfield which is about a 30 minute drive North of Newcastle just off the A1 halfway between Morpeth and Alnwick. It's about 15 miles away from Belsay.

Can't think of any i've seen in the Newcastle zone...however, I have seen a few further north.

Find "Rothley" which is north east of Wallington, then track the road north as it cuts through Rothley Lakes, and as the road then bends right look in the field north of the road.
