Hi All,

Have had a scout round and come back empty drawers...

I'm looking for a link to a German-English ATC aviation terminology guide (VFR & IFR).

Can anyone please throw me a pointer?

Much appreciated,

The ATC office of the German Air Force has published a comprehensive dictionary here:

Auch ich danke Ihnen. Funny how 'runway' becomes 'Piste'.........

Although this thread has been inactive for a while I always wanted to add another link.

German radio communication procedures are published in the AIP (page GEN 3.4-7) which can be found at Eurocontrol's EAD website (http://www.ead.eurocontrol.int/eadcms/eadsite/index.php.html) (free registration required).

EG, have you tried the DFS Academy in Langen. I got an ICAO aviation German/English Dictonary from them, when I had my guys trained there some many years back.
