Hi folks. Friend of mine has just landed with a stuck throttle.:oh: Had the cowlings and cover panels off. Can't find anything wrong. Throttle nice and free know. Anyone come across this before?

The engine in the TB9 is the Lycoming O-320-D2A...If I recall correctly its not an EFI engine so maybe it was icing or dirt on the carburetor butterfly valve, causing it stick?
I have heard of this happening on this type of engine before.

If nothing can be found I would go for carb ice as the most likely cause.
