TB9 sticky throttle

Hi folks. Friend of mine has just landed with a stuck throttle. Had the cowlings and cover panels off. Can't find anything wrong. Throttle nice and free know. Anyone come across this before?

The engine in the TB9 is the Lycoming O-320-D2A...If I recall correctly its not an EFI engine so maybe it was icing or dirt on the carburetor butterfly valve, causing it stick?

I have heard of this happening on this type of engine before.

If nothing can be found I would go for carb ice as the most likely cause.
