Does anyone know if there is car parking out the front of the terminal if someone is being collected?

Yes, some. There's no big car park, as far as I recall, but there are a few spaces.

First couple of rows are normally for hire cars, the rest are there for parking.
You can pull up to the main doors for pick up / drop off though.
