What is the Mcit for the B737 classis wing ??Other airliner transports??Can anybody give me any information on this??
Maybe someone will know, but I suspect Mcrit for a 737 will be determined by the fuselage. Try a search for Mcrit - there is a bit on PPRune somewhere. I would have a stab at around 0.75M for the 737 Classic wing but that is a wild stab - Mcrit is very difficult to determine. Mcdr is easier from fuel flow tables.

M crit is the mach where there is the first instance of any airflow at mach 1.0, 1G, if you were to speed up the wing from a slower mach. Thus, dependent on the weight the wing is carrying. Perhaps this is what BOAC means by depends on the fuselage.
Going over old ground now, but I would place a bet that the first shock-wave on a 737 would be just over my head (like a lot of things:) )

I **believe** that when one talks refers to the critical mach of an aircraft, it refers to the just sonic flow of air over the wings, and doesn't consider the fuselage airflow.
