With the current situation with fuel prices on the up, and ever larger jets being built, is there anyone out there who's working on something else to put into the tanks?

Dont see why bio-diesel wont work , just the price is the issue.

Big problem will be freezing point. Biodiesel already has to be mixed with something else in the winter for car use. I think it will be tough to get a -50 deg freeze/gel point. OTOH, could circulate it through the galley and install a fryer...
