Perhaps learning to spell would help your cause "SWANWICK" :D

Hey, fair mistake.

I got some really strange looks in my NATS interview years ago when I kept referring to "Swan-wick" :(

Stupid english language. Next you'll be telling me you don't pronounce the "w" in Greenwich.

I'm sure the guys at Swan-wick would be glad to have you.

I wouldn't know off-hand who you would need to speak to. Try the switchboard and ask them if they know.

Seems to be a regular moan from both ATCOs and pilots that they don't see enough of each other in their own environment.

Ring 01489 572288 office hours
Write NATS
London Area Control Centre
Sopwith Way
Swanwick
SO31 9AY

You can meet some of the 234 managers, 476 support staff
634 security and ancilliary staff, and if you can shake off the chaperon......a couple of the 39 controllers.

Prepare to be frightened.

Seriously....you would be welcome on the shop-floor, mention the sectors you use and we'll plug you in.

Well if you fly out of a LONDON airport why not visit the LONDON TERMINAL CONTROL CENTRE at West Drayton, where the whole LTMA, and all approach units are based (AS WELL AS VISITING OUR SOUTH COAST CHUMS!!!:))

(Sorry - we have lost the tea and sticky bun budget but we have a nice LCD projector to show you!!!)
