View Full Version : Yet another go-arounds question 8-)

Speaking of pan-European short haul 737 operations, on my first year I had 4 G/As. Too tight of a spacing twice, unstabilised VIS shortcut approach, LVO not in place soon enough. Daily bread, I suppose. On the second year there were none, probability laws work.

I was wondering, what would be a long term yearly average, for those of you experienced so that statistics apply?

Merry landings :)

If you do things right, i.e. keeping speed, stabilised app, check TCAS on app and final, less visual approaches also :( ,you'll have ,maybe, one GA /year, I guess.
Except of course ,if you fly to some areas with high probability of fog in winter,no CAT II ,or sometimes even catII is not enaugh,then....:)
