Let's say you fly B757 with this rating. Do you need a conversion, or something like that, to fly B767? Or can you switch just like that between the two types?

Once qualified on both yes you can just switch between the two.
Currently only on 757, but I believe you alternate your sim checks between 757 and 767.
There is a one day differences ground school course in addition before you fly the other type.

Thanks for the info Expedite.
Expedite has it just about right...for me it was a 2 1/2 day groundschool...1 1/2 days on systems differences, half a day on SEP and 1/2 a day on performance and loading stuff. The first sim is full of differences, but incorporates the LPC/OPC on day 2. Once current on both, alternate sims on each type.

1/2 day of 767 tech diffrences and a 4 hour sim session covering the opc required items EFATO etc.
line training on a mix of both over 20 sectors ish.
Every 6 months a two day sim check, day 1 767, day 2 757.

Does this also count for the 767-400? Because of it's different cockpit layout. Speaking of this model, are Delta and Continental the only airlines which operate this aircraft?

Yep I believe so,
Delta have 19 764s and Continental have 16 according to 767.org.uk

I believe delta have a seperate pool of flight deck for the 767-400, with a 4-5 day conversion course due to electronic check lists etc.
I dont think it is a legal requirement though?
Not sure on Continental.:8
