Could someone from the good ole US of A please enlighten a curious Aussie pilot what part 135 of the FAR's covers in relation to pilot qualifications and aircraft types.
From distant memory, and considering that FAR135 has recently been amended (and indeed will be amended again sometime next year) it covers,
Aircraft that seat less than 30 pax, and/or have a payload of of 6,000 pounds or less, operated for hire.
Those aircraft that meet the above, but are operated in scheduled pax service, are to be operated under FAR121.
Pilot qualifications....over age sixty allowed, unrestricted.
