LARGE parts of the Airport may have to close if the States do not pay for essential repairs, the Harbours and Airport Committee has warned.
The committee believes that Finance and Economics has ignored an earlier States decision to fund certain infrastructure projects, including the replacement of the runway and concrete aprons, out of general reserves.
Harbours has now lodged an amendment to the Resource Plan asking that these projects, which total £30m, are paid for out of central funds.
