4 ex A321's off to TCX.

MKY661 2nd December 2017 14:38

If I had to say which ones, My Guess is that it'll be the 4 Newish Sharklet ones.

LiamNCL 2nd December 2017 14:40

More than likely the Sharklet ones agree.

LAX_LHR 2nd December 2017 14:42

At a guess, the 4 A321 currently sat at NQY?

dude1882 4th December 2017 12:45

Which ones are there?

MKY661 4th December 2017 14:10

G-ZBAD, AE, AM and AO.

fmgc 5th December 2017 17:22

OK, Maybe I was wrong.

In my defence it was a reliable source that I had:

Inside Monarch Airlines' collapse: KPMG lifts the lid on Britain's biggest airline failure | City A.M.

I also believe the license is still suspended and not revoked as of yet?

Somebody treat themselves to lunch with the company card eh? :D

It seems BHX was fortunate in not being owed anything.

Everyone loses apart from the owners?

renort 21st December 2017 16:17

That Nimmo article just shows how little those at the very top knew about where the business was going, the last minute panic to try and switch to longhaul and sell the airline. Shocking. Shame they inherited a complete shower from the previous regime with a vanity aircraft order, and then sat on their hands and hoped for the best.

For example I see Jet2 are up to 10 Aircraft in STN next Summer from a zero start in 2 years. Impressive.

What on earth can you buy in Nandos for a fiver?

Buster the Bear 21st December 2017 16:19

Wizzair UK will more than fill the Monarch void at Luton with a based fleet of 7 airframes by September and again from a zero start.

LGS6753 21st December 2017 18:26

Buster -

But some of the routes operated by the 7 based aircraft will have previously been operated by non-based aircraft.
It would be interesting to know the answer to:
MON capacity 17 - WZZ additional capacity 18.

So Monarch's Website now redirects you to Loveholidays and no longer the CAA site, although the CAA site is still loaded into the system.

The 738MAX was also supposed to enter service this week according to what I saw on Jethro's 6 Months ago. I believe SCAT have taken their first aircraft.

Aksai Oiler 22nd March 2018 04:11

You do know what the word SCAT in the English language actually refers to hence our little joke!

If you don't understand the reference I suggest that you Google it as I get the impression that your not aware of it :-)
