Regarding Flybe Norwich ops, I hope that with NWI becoming busier there are airspace changes planned. It is an absolute pain to be constantly turned left and right 90 degrees due "avoiding action" when inbound and outbound. I have no doubt that under the current airspace divisions these heading changes are necessary, but the pax down the back are left thinking... "I don't think the pilot knows where he's going!"
|
In ana advert from Flybe in the Daily Mail, a route map showed Berne and ABZ-BHX. I assume these are new routes. May also have contained other new routes. SEN-JER was also showed. Is it continuing in the winter?

Hey there, er, Hey there!
Think you mean Eastern i.e. T3 on the NCL-SOU route? |

Anyone know if we are going to get GCI to NWI as that would quite useful for me & Mrs Guern.

EZE - 3 letter code for Eastern Airways.
EZY - 3 letter code for the Orange mob. Time to buy a new spotter's book I think.;) |
Sorry, didn't realise EZE was their ICAO code! Got confused with Easyjet!
Thank god for spotters, or I would never have known!!! :8 ;) |
I'll give you spotter! :*

Have Flybe withdrawn their GLA-LPL service from the end of October or is it just not loaded in their system?
|
GLA/LPL
The 'word' is that its withdrawn even with what appears to be good loads.
|
GLA-LPL
Seems to be unavailable from Monday 8th Aug. As this was a GLA based aircraft, have they found somethingelse for it to do?
Is LPL going the way of other places Flybe have flown from in the past?? |
Load have never been good on the GLA-LPL with the exception of the odd day. Thought it may change since its gone twice daily.
Rumour inside is its def going, no news of whats going to replace it sice there are 3 dash based at GLA now.., |
What ever happened to the FLYBE expansion in BRS? they said they were going to challange some of the EZY routes down here, all we got was a couple of french routes, they also said they were going to start MUR, but EZY are doing it now? have they fallen out with BRS or scared off by EZY, whats going on?
|
MIght have something to do with the extreamly poor handling offered in LPL - who only appear to be interested in EZY and Ryanair....
|
To be quite honest, the less we do out of LPL, the better. As WG mentions above, the handling at LPL is absolutely shocking, and one things that disgusts me is that they lie.
|
Would be surprised if GLA - LPL was pulled considering the relatively short time it has been running - unlike other locos, Flybe do seem to carry out extensive market research before committing themselves, rather than simply starting a route because there happens to be an airport there.
Does anyone know how other routes out of LPL are doing? - have been told that BHD is performing well above initial expectations and that additional rotations had been mooted. The only other possible explanation is a renewed interest in down the road at MAN - seem to remember this was talked about some time ago. |
if experience serves me correct there was another handling choice at LPL in aviance who in my own experience are at least a rten times more professional outfit than Circusair!
Flybe have paid the price for not paying the price if you catch my drfit! |
sou
Hi, don't suppose anyones heard about the supposed 12 new routes from sou. Theres so many threads going i've probably missed it somewhere. I only work in the place and we're the last to know!!!!
