March traffic up 3.4%, much less than Ryanair's 6%. I suspect that this reflects Easyjet's greater dependence on the UK, whose economy is growing more slowly than the rest of Europe.

I suspect that this reflects Easyjet's greater dependence on the UK, whose economy is growing more slowly than the rest of Europe. Always remember easyJet is mature in their UK market presence, there are no untouched sweet spots that EZY have not already had a crack at in the UK market in the last 23 years of operations. |
Please also read the words below the number e.g.
*The passenger statistics above do not include Tegel operations. There were 1,274 cancellations in March 2018 - equivalent to 3% of planned capacity and up on the 575 experienced in March 2017. Over 1000 were caused by adverse weather conditions across Europe and a further 200 due to French and Italian industrial action. Passenger Statistics for March 2018 |
RNS tonight:
"easyJet has today submitted a revised expression of interest for a restructured Alitalia, together as part of a consortium, consistent with easyJet's existing strategy for Italy. Given the nature of the process, the content of the expression of interest is subject to confidentiality. There is no certainty at this stage that any transaction will proceed and easyJet will provide a further update in due course if and when appropriate." |
Easyjet W18
Does anyone have any news on the Easyjet winter 18 schedule released today? Becuase I cant find it.
|
Up to Feb 3rd has been released. However, I doubt it’s the final schedule as they seem to be a bit ‘messy’.

Does anyone know how long the leased aircraft will be operating easyJet flights out of TXL?
Looking to book a MUC flight around the end of May/early June and wondering if I'll catch the Condor B753 or the WDL BAe 146. |
The last day in May flights are done by Smartlynx, easyJet Europe and Titan.

SOU thread is reporting that easyJet will start Southampton-Palma next summer 4 times per week. Can anyone with knowledge confirm this?
|
Wonder of thats the end of any W18/19 timetable announcements or are there any more changes/announcements to come? Doesnt seem like Brexit really having huge impact...as yet |
Do you remember the millennium time bomb? You know, when 1999 turned into the year 2000? Any aircraft in the sky at the time would fall out the sky and much of the civilised world would come to a halt? Bit like Brexit really. Good on EZY if they are getting on with their business.

One was a clock ticking over midnight the other has deep political and social ramifications, so not really the same. |
And the millennium time bomb was averted by a great deal of very hard work by some very clever people.

EastJet usually release a basic schedule, and then have a 'big bang' route announcement later in the summer. I think it was early July last year.
|
This mornings Scotsman suggesting a little movement with EZY at GLA. Sounds a bit something-and-nothing though with 'new routes' probably replacing existing capacity reductions and expansion 'in 2 years' not really worth any fuss at this stage. So no big bang expansion which is disappointing. https://www.scotsman.com/news/transp...uits-1-4733342 |
