Does anybody know which A330-300 will be operating out of Manchester this summer? They had a HiFly leased for summer 2018, will it be the same again or one of the Scandinavian fleet?

Stansted is showing on the MT timetable for S20. They operate a sizeable operation to Turkey from there which seems to be their bread and butter with daily flights. Does seem a bit odd but it’s still very much early days for S20.

Spotted yet another very strange one-off flight last night, G-TCVC operated MAN-SCQ-MAN, at 2000 last night, spent 40 minutes on the ground before returning as MT4821.

Did that sleeper seat not go down like a lead balloon with ANZ? How does three seats for £200 affect cabin profitibaility and margins on plus premier cabin?!

The Russian Embassy has tweeted that Thomas Cook is to merge with Russian tour operator Globus (which I think is related to S7)

Definitely a misunderstanding of internal business dealings by the Russian embassy, a quote from the FT reads:

”Thomas Cook said on Friday it would acquire a stake in the tour operating business of Russia’s Biblio Globus through a joint venture with Ionic Invest. The deal will see Thomas Cook spend $3m for a 30 per cent stake in one of the largest tour operators in Russia.”
